Roles and Responsibilities
 
Purpose:
 
The Planning Specialist is responsible for effective and efficient planning & scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance (PM & CM) activities for delivery to operational sites for execution. The role also provides collaboration with other business areas to collate and provide a consolidated plan covering Operations, Decommissioning and Re-Use programs.
 
The role will also support the Maintenance Support Co-ordinator to set targets and timelines for execution activities.
 
Key responsibilities areas:
·       Daily contact with Off/Onshore sites and other departments to ensure plans are tracked and reported. Highlighting and offering solutions to problems
·       Co-ordinate and support the execution of major and non-routine maintenance and improvement jobs on the operations site
·       Support preparation for minor plant shutdowns include development of the scope of work, spares, resources, tools, etc
·       Co-ordinate and support the third-party business mobilisation and plans working in collaboration with other departments.
·       Support Integrated Asset Planning (IAP)
 
    
 
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
·       Support the Maintenance Support Co-ordinator with the control and delivery of all relevant planned maintenance activities in accordance with Eni HSE Policy and Procedures, to meet business targets, throughput, planning, reliability and plant uptime
·       Support the Maintenance Support Co-ordinator, in synergy with the Technical Planning department, to ensure the Major and Asset Integrity related work and/or breakdown activities are prioritised, resourced and planned appropriately to meet the integrated plan
·       Develop in synergy with Technical Planning department the shutdown schedules, incorporating approved business forecasts, field development projects, and maintenance strategies.
·       Prepare plans for complex work, rotating equipment programs and routine outages (train outages, maintenance campaign programs and field outage)
·       Support day to day the Offshore and Onshore Planners and Scheduler in effective and accurate planning (28 days and 90 days site plans)
·       Accountable for facilitation of 90 Day Planning meetings, rough-cut planning meetings, weekly backlog/ forward log review meetings when necessary
·       Liaise with Technical Authority to optimize Critical Equipment maintenance.
·       Responsible for creating & integration of district & functional plans for IAP
·       Preparation of ISP planning Campaign and Satellites Maintenance Campaign
 
    
 
Qualifications & Experience:
·       Engineering degree or relevant equivalent experience
·       Familiar with the use of SAP/MS Project/Primavera
·       Be well acquainted with the operational methods and details related to daily activities of a maintenance engineering office supporting both on and offshore operational facilities
·       Extensive experience in planning and control of multi-disciplinary activities
·       Extensive experience in engaging with external vendors and resources
·       Appreciation of contract management requirements
 
    
 
Required Competencies:
·       Previous experience in the upstream O&G industry with significant exposure to offshore and onshore projects
·       Good working of software applications, such as MS Office, SAP, MS Project, Primavera
·       Deep knowledge of maintenance & project planning
·       Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, negotiation & influencing skills
