Full Job Description: As a Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer with our client, you will be based at their site in the CH areas, performing planned service works, reactive maintenance, and leak testing on a variety of equipment, including chilled and frozen storage, air handling units, cooling tunnels, ice machines, and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities & Activities:
- Planned service and repair of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems.
- Carrying out leak testing and repairs under the F-gas regulations.
- Reactive maintenance on equipment, including electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Based at the client's site in the North Wales and CH areas.
Requirements:
- Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on medium commercial refrigeration systems.
- Experience working on larger refrigeration systems, ice machines, air conditioning systems, and retrofitting old systems.
- Experience and qualifications for working on electrical circuits and fault finding.
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- F-Gas 2079 - Cat1.
- Based within a commutable distance to the client's site near Flint, Wrexham, Wirral.
Salary and Package: Our client offers a competitive basic salary ranging from 40,000 to 45,000 per year, depending on experience. This position does not require participation in a call-out rota or extensive overtime, making it ideal for an experienced engineer seeking a good work-life balance.
