Tradewind is seeking a qualified teacher who has experience teaching Performing Arts in a secondary school, can teach Drama or Dance and is open to teaching general subjects in a cover supervisor capacity.

Your role includes:

  • Delivery of pre-planned lessons and resources
  • Thinking on your feet and being adaptable
  • Managing behaviour following the schools' policies and procedures
  • Working alongside colleagues to support the delivery of the curriculum

You will need:

  • Experience of teaching Performing Arts in a school or similar setting- essential
  • Experience of working with children with SEND/ALN either in a school or similar setting - desirable
  • An enhanced child only DBS and EWC - essential
  • Qualified Teacher Status or Degree in Education - essential
  • Patience, Empathy, Enthusiasm and Motivation
