CNC Miller, Setter, Operator, Night Shift
22.00 - 24.00 Per Hour, Plus Overtime & Benefits

JOB PURPOSE: CNC Miller, Setter, Operator
To set up and operate CNC machines ensuring all throughput meets quality and technical
requirements and timelines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: CNC Miller, Setter, Operator

  • Where required, programme machines in line with technical information provided
  • Set up the tooling required to produce parts
  • Carry out first offs to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified
  • Run product batches to technical requirements
  • Check dimensions prior to passing for Inspection
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements
  • Comply with quality and regulatory standards
  • Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company

Experience: CNC Miller, Setter, Operator

  • Proven experience in a CNC Setter/Operator role using 3/4/5 axis machines
  • Experience of Multi pallet.
  • Heidenhain or Mazatrol experience is essential.
  • Previous Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
  • Must be able to program/set and operate machine
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, bore micrometres etc.)
  • Capable of using equipment for loading heavy billets
  • Health and safety environment
  • Focussed with attention to detail
  • A team player
  • Work with engineering and the quality team to improve all aspects of the manufacturing process
