JOB PURPOSE

To operate CNC machines ensuring all throughput meets quality and technical requirements and timelines, CNC Operator - NIGHTS

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - CNC OPERATOR - NIGHTS

  • Set up the tooling required to produce parts
  • Carry out first offs to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified
  • Run product batches to technical requirements
  • Check dimensions prior to passing for Inspection
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements
  • Comply with quality and regulatory standards
  • Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company


QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES - CNC OPERATOR - NIGHTS

  • Proven experience in a CNC Operator role using 3/4/5 axis machines
  • Experience of Multi pallet.
  • Mazatrol or Heidenhain experience is essential.
  • Previous Aerospace experience is essential.
  • Must be able to operate machinery and set tools
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, bore micrometres etc.)
  • Capable of using equipment for loading heavy billets
  • Health and safety environment
  • Focussed with attention to detail
  • A team player
  • Work with engineering and the quality team to improve all aspects of the manufacturing process
