Sales Manager / Sales Leader / Sales Operations Manager required to join a global leading engineering supplier.

Sales Manager / Sales Leader / Sales Operations Manager Engineer will lead a team of Technical Sales Engineers, driving sales within the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Sector, developing strategic sales plans and managing relationships with UK Water Companies. Portfolio includes a range of products and systems such as advanced filtration solutions, chemical dosing systems, water tanks, Oil Water Separators (OWS), and other essential water treatment technologies.

The Sales Manager / Sales Leader / Sales Operations Manager will ideally have a proven track record of successfully managing sales teams within the water treatment industry or a related technical engineering sector such as pumps, valves, filtration, chemical engineering, civil engineering, or relatable water treatment products. Full product training provided.

Sales Manager / Sales Leader / Sales Operations Manager Role
  • Lead a team of Technical Sales Engineers to drive sales in the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Sector.
  • Develop strategic sales plans for products such as filtration, chemical dosing systems, water tanks, and Oil Water Separators (OWS).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with UK Water Companies, focusing on long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse industry trends, and manage the UK territory, including regular reporting on progress and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Service and Engineering departments to ensure excellent after-sales service.
  • Liaise with various Engineering departments
  • Office based in Monmouthshire with regular travel to customer sites across the UK.

Sales Manager / Sales Leader / Sales Operations Manager Requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams within the water treatment industry or a related technical engineering sector such as pumps, valves, filtration, chemical engineering, civil engineering, or relatable water treatment products. Full product training provided.
  • Experience as a Sales Manager, UK Sales Manager, Sales Leader, Sales Operations Manager, General Manager, Engineering Manager, Internal Sales Manager, Inside Sales Manager, or similar within mechanical engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a team toward hitting sales targets.
  • Background in municipal and industrial Water Industry is advantageous.
  • A technical engineering qualification ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Willing to commute to the office in Monmouthshire with regular travel to customer sites across the UK.
