Academics are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for a full time position, based in a Primary School in Monmouth starting after Easter.

If you have experience working with children and a genuine interest for working in education we would love to hear from you!

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the classroom Teacher to facilitate an engaging learning environment for all students
  • Assist the Teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide support to students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Support students with their social, emotional and academic development

Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in a school or academic setting ]
  • A genuine passion for education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff and parents
  • A proactive working attitude
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS signed up to the update service (we can assist you with this)
  • Registration with the EWC
