Position: Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) Location: Monmouth A long established, progressive law firm based in the Southeast of Wales is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding practice. They are committed to providing a professional and client focused service and the successful candidate will share their values. The Role Your responsibilities will include managing and handling a range of work for private clients, such as: 
  • Preparing Wills, from straightforward cases to those involving high-net-worth estates and complex family arrangements 
  • Advising on estate planning and capital taxes, including Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax 
  • Establishing, administering, and registering lifetime trusts and Will trusts 
  • Administering both taxable and non-taxable estates 
  • Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney and handling Court of Protection applications 
  • Assisting with elderly client matters and addressing capacity issues 
You 
  • Solicitor of 3+ PQE. 
  • STEP qualification preferred but not essential. 
  • Dynamic, personable, and team oriented. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly. 
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, with strong IT proficiency. 
  • Skilled in managing client relationships and prioritising tasks effectively. 
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to teamwork. 
  • Experience in marketing and business development activities to support the Private Client Team and the Firm.
