Based in Monmouth, this position offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Finance Manager and contribute to the success of a collaborative and dedicated finance team.The RoleAs a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the finance function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring VAT compliance.
- Supporting audit preparation and providing key financial reports.
- Managing projects, including improving and managing the expense systems and supporting a variety of other tasks.
- Handling day-to-day finance administration, assisting with tasks to reduce team pressures.
This is an on-site role, based in Monmouth, and requires someone proactive, organised, and adaptable to take ownership of different projects to support the Finance Manager.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience in finance administration, including balance sheet reconciliations and VAT.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel; experience with SharePoint is a bonus.
- A proactive attitude, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to integrate into a close-knit team.
