Your new school This school is a mixed 11 - 18 comprehensive school based in Monmouthshire with over 900 pupils. The school encourages the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning allowing them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling. Your new role Starting in September, you will be a key part of the dedicated Maths department, including full teaching responsibilities such as:

  • Teach KS3 - KS4
  • Nurture a range of learning abilities
  • Staff meetings
  • Parent's evenings,
  • Pastoral responsibilities,
  • Planning and preparation of lessons
  • Marking and assessment.

  • Experience of teaching Maths in a secondary school.
  • Qualified teaching Status or PCET with Maths experience.
  • Proven track record of helping students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council.
  • Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
