Role Description:
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for managing and adjudicating client enquiries and tenders. You will be working closely with the internal sales team to review specifications and designs, conduct material and labor cost calculations, and prepare detailed cost estimates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and adjudicate client enquiries alongside the internal sales team.
  • Analyze tenders and specifications to complete accurate take-offs.
  • Calculate costs for materials, labor, and preliminaries.
  • Obtain quotes from specialist or named suppliers.
  • Communicate with clients to manage expectations and meet their needs.
  • Use relevant software (e.g., Excel, Word) to compile and present estimates.
  • Visit prospective sites to support tender bids and gather necessary information.
  • Present cost estimates to clients and assist in converting sales.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to compile tender returns and bids.
