Quality Inspector

Cheltenham

£28K - £34K (DOE)

My client specialises within the aerospace industry and provides class leading quality and cost-effective sourcing solutions across a wide and growing range of products and services.

They are no on the lookout for a Quality Inspector to join their team based in Cheltenham.

You will be inspecting parts and components, ensuring compliance with the relevant customer specification, in accordance with AS9100 (and any other relevant working standards).

Key Responsibilities – Quality Inspector

  • Use, Calibration and control of relevant inspection/measuring equipment including verniers, micrometres, callipers and CMM equipment.
  • Inspect components drawing requirements
  • Conduct Hardness, conductivity & tensile testing
  • Inspect Painted parts to include Visual/thickness/adhesion/colour/gloss check.

Qualifications & Experience – Quality Inspector

  • Have experience of working within a highly regulated industry such as Aerospace or Defence
  • Engineering qualification - desirable
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and documents
  • Understanding of AS9100
  • Familiar with first off inspection procedures
