Job Purpose
  • Supporting a varied client portfolio, working closely with Seniors to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for the review of Managers and Partners
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Preparation of corporate tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Assisting with client bookkeeping and payroll work
  • Using cloud accounting software such as Xero, SAGE and QuickBooks
  • Liaising with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Championing your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
  • ACCA / ACA / AAT qualified, part-qualified or studying
  • Recent experience working in UK practice
  • Good working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Able to learn now IT skills quickly
  • An enthusiastic team player who can also work autonomously
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
