Job Opportunity: Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher (Flexible with either Year 3 or 4)

School:  "Outstanding" Two Form Entry Primary School

About Us:  We are seeking an enthusiastic and upbeat Lower KS2 Teacher to join us in September for the new academic year. We have flexibility with the year group itself. It could be either Year 3 or Year 4 dependant on the successful candidate’s preference. As an Outstanding school, our c hildren have excellent opportunities to participate in Spanish, French, Music, Dance, Drama, Sports, Gardening and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths). We enrich the curriculum with experience days, visits, workshops and residentials to fully immerse children in our curriculum offer. 

Position Available: Lower KS2 Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Lower Key Stage 2 students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being and academic growth of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of an engaging and creative curriculum.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents.
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos and be an ambassador for the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Ability to create a calm and supportive learning environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to kindness, empathy, and nurturing the well-being of students.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
