We are recruiting for a Paraplanning Team Leader, the Paraplanner T/L is a pivotal role responsible for leading and managing a team of paraplanners within our financial planning organisation. This individual ensures the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and compliant financial plans and reports, while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. The Paraplanning Team Leader serves as a bridge between the paraplanning team and senior management, driving the team towards achieving business objectives and maintaining excellent client service standards. The team leader will also undertake senior paraplanning activity as part of the team.

Duties

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paraplanners, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth

  • Conduct thorough research on financial products and services to assist in developing comprehensive financial plans.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for client meetings, ensuring all information is accurate and well-presented.
  • Analyse client data to identify needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with financial planners to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
  • Maintain organised records of client interactions and documentation in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Paraplanner
  • Knowledge of iO, Excel and other research, analysis and data management tools - essential
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines - essential
  • A team player - essential
  • Good communication both verbal and written - essential
  • Ability to coach, manage and mentor a team and ensure accurate work within tight deadlines - essential
  • Broad knowledge of the financial services sector - desirable
  • Be able to roll out new processes to the team - desirable
