Early Years Teaching Assistant | Morden, Merton | Payscale: £94-105 | Long-term to Permanent | ASAP Start

Long Term Futures are currently hiring on behalf of our partner primary school based in Morden, Merton borough of London and we are looking for a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young minds in an EYFS setting. The primary school has a separate nursery on the premises.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside senior members of the nursery and other teaching assistants to deliver early years curriculum.
  • Plan and organise fun and engaging activities for early years students.
  • Act as a role model and encourage positive behaviour strategies.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Build strong relationships with students and encourage participation in activities to promote social, mental and emotional development.

About you:

  • Previous experience in Early Years or Nursery setting
  • Be passionate, supportive, and engaged with the learning and development of early years study.
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • A strong sense of commitment to providing children with appropriate, fun learning environments.
