Management and recruitment of Hygiene Team; currently 5 team members to be working night shifts.
* Manage working patterns and rotas to maintain sufficient Hygiene resource across all departments and
shifts, ensuring cover for holidays and absences
* Drive and implement improvement in factory and office hygiene standards and Hygiene Team
performance, effectiveness and efficiency
* Develop the hygiene improvement plan and strategy for the next 12 months
* Lead and mentor the Hygiene team, driving performance and encouraging a culture of continuous
improvement
* Deliver Hygiene Team training and development, including H&S, food safety and cleaning procedures
* Regular review of cleaning schedules to ensure they are kept up to date and sufficient for maintaining excellent hygiene
standards
* Ensure all hygiene related records are completed and up to date
* Support in maintaining and updating training matrix for hygiene team members
* Support Technical Department in microbiological-related investigations
* Carry out audits and swabbing as required to verify effectiveness of cleaning activities.
* Support Technical Department in preparing cleaning cards, cleaning schedules and strip off procedures
* Involvement in site preparation for BRCGS audit and customer audits
* Manage hygiene equipment, consumables, and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and usage
* Daily chemical dilution checks
