A creative, holistic SEN Primary School in Merton is looking for a confident, ambitious Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Base for Autism to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs and with a specific focus on ASD. This role will begin ASAP as a full-time role across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
You will be working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, various therapists and inclusion staff as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Base for Autism, helping manage the classroom environment, creating exciting activities and delivering tailored programmes to pupils using the extensive equipment at the school. The school have an Alternative Provision in the school which is a safe, interactive and adapted space for the pupils to flourish.
The ideal candidate for this Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Base for Autism role would be a graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education, or an individual passionate about SEN who is looking to work alongside the best specialist staff and equipment such as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydrotherapists, Psychologists and more!
