Civil Engineer
Salary: 32,000 - 38,000
Location: Morden

We're looking for a Civil Engineer with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience to join a supportive and knowledgeable team. You'll be involved in a variety of projects including retaining walls, earthworks, temporary works, and general structural and infrastructure design. It's a great chance to strengthen your skills across key areas of civil engineering while working alongside experienced professionals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures using hand calculations and design software
  • Creating practical and buildable design concepts that meet client expectations
  • Producing detailed design work to current codes and standards, including risk assessments and sketches
  • Making sure your work follows internal quality standards and is professionally delivered

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng, 2:1 or higher)
  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Working towards membership of ICE or IStructE
  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes and DMRB
  • Experience using structural design software such as TEDDS or SCIA
  • Previous rail design experience is a bonus
  • A clean UK driving licence

Additional Info:

  • Open-plan office environment
  • Some site visits and occasional travel may be required
  • Occasional evening, night, or weekend work may be needed and will be paid accordingly
  • You'll attend meetings where necessary to support project delivery
