Join a leading public sector organisation as a Procurement Officer, managing key procurement initiatives while ensuring compliance with UK public procurement regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee procurement projects, ensuring they are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Lead the preparation of tenders, quotations, and contracts, ensuring alignment with public sector procurement requirements.
  • Apply and enforce UK public procurement regulations, including EU and national guidelines, to ensure full compliance and transparency.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, external suppliers, and government stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions that meet the needs of the public sector.
  • Provide advice and guidance on procurement policies, ensuring best practices and regulatory adherence.
Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in tender preparation, supplier negotiations, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders in the public sector.
