Residential Conveyancer - Full-TimeBased in Wanstead (with flexible working available)Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pmSalary: From £35,000 (depending on experience) + benefitsA well-established and growing law firm with offices in East and South London is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Property Department. With a strong, loyal client base and a reputation for excellence, the firm acts for a wide range of private and commercial clients and is known for its specialist, collaborative team.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused individual to take the next step in their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload of residential property transactions, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • New build transactions, Help to Buy and Shared Ownership
  • Lease extensions and unregistered titles
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors
  • Working closely with the Private Client Department on related matters

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical knowledge across a full range of residential conveyancing matters
  • The ability to work autonomously and efficiently on complex matters
  • A proactive and professional approach to client care
  • A strong interest in business development and networking
  • Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
  • A collaborative and friendly personality
  • Proficiency in using case management systems, ideally LEAP

Key Skills Required

  • Solid expertise in conveyancing law and residential property transactions
  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Problem-solving ability and commercial awareness
  • Confident IT skills and comfort with digital workflows
