Horizon Teachers are working with Primary school based in Merton, supporting in their search for an experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children throughout the school day, in and out of the classroom. The school are looking for someone has a proactive and positive approach and is open to work across all year groups.
What do the school require from you?
- Experience working in a Nursery, Primary or Secondary school.
- A willingness to learn about SEND and support children on a 1:1 basis when necessary.
- Confidence in your ability to remain calm under pressure and use your initiative.
- Show patience and empathy in challenging situations.
- Have knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
