Are you a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting children who require additional support within the classroom?Horizon Teachers are working with Primary school based in Merton, supporting in their search for an experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children throughout the school day, in and out of the classroom. The school are looking for someone has a proactive and positive approach and is open to work across all year groups. What do the school require from you?

Experience working in a Nursery, Primary or Secondary school.
A willingness to learn about SEND and support children on a 1:1 basis when necessary.
Confidence in your ability to remain calm under pressure and use your initiative.
Show patience and empathy in challenging situations.
Have knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
