SEN Teaching Assistant - Speech and Behavioural Support

An incredibly well-resourced SEN school in Merton are seeking multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to join their welcoming, holistic and caring team ASAP. As an SEN Teaching Assistant your role will stretch far more than assisting with teaching. You will be supporting students aged 11 - 19 with Severe, Complex and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and ASD.

These SEN Teaching Assistant roles are suitable for someone with SEN experience, particularly PMLD & SLD, however the school are also interested in Graduates with a keen interest in SEN, Teaching and Child-Psychology.

This SEN school is keen to take on graduate teaching assistants and provide them with experience of leading a class, perfect for aspiring teachers, therapists or psychologists.

For those who prefer a career as a teaching assistant, the school also offer opportunities to become a TA2 where you are responsible for supporting a specialism in a classroom setting.
