We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in their learning journey. Working closely with our SEN teachers and multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment for children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and personalized learning activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for children with PMLD and complex needs, including assistance with communication, mobility, and daily care.
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting the development of students’ sensory, communication, and life skills.
- Help manage and utilize specialist equipment, including sensory resources, mobility aids, and communication tools.
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment that promotes each child’s well-being and personal growth.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver a holistic and coordinated approach to care and education.
- Assist with personal care, feeding, and medical needs in a dignified and respectful manner, ensuring the comfort and safety of each child.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with PMLD and complex needs (desirable but not essential).
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
- Knowledge of alternative communication methods, such as Makaton or PECS (desirable but not required).
- A willingness to assist with personal care and medical needs.
