Pertemps Education are recruiting for special needs teaching assistants to work on a temporary basis across the London Borough of Merton. This may be on a long term contract, or on daily supply, during term time only.
The schools that we work with have needs including the following:
  • Autism
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Complex needs
  • Personal care
  • Speech, Language and Communication needs
The majority of schools have working hours of 08.30-16.00, and the daily rate of pay will be between 90-100 depending on the school and the candidate's experience. This would typically be paid through a payroll company.

The successful candidates will be required to provide documentation during the vetting procedure to include (but not limited to) Right to Work, proof of address, DBS on the update service, satisfactory references covering the last 2 years and any overseas police checks where applicable. All candidates will be expected to complete and pass a safeguarding survey prior to working with children.
