Job Description

They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and a flawless finish. The role requires experience with different types of spray equipment and coatings to meet the needs of their clients or production processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking areas to ensure a smooth and clean application.
Operate spray guns and other equipment to apply paint, primers, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, including wood, metal, and plastic.
Mix paint, chemicals, and other solutions to achieve desired colour, consistency, and finish.
Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring that the application is uniform, smooth, and free of defects.
Maintain spray equipment, ensuring it is cleaned and functioning correctly after use.
Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
Maintain inventory of painting materials and report when supplies are running low.
Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Perform maintenance on spray equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or in a similar role.
Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques.
Ability to operate various spray equipment, including airless, HVLP, and electrostatic spray guns.
Strong attention to detail and precision in achieving high-quality finishes.
Good physical condition and ability to stand, lift, and work in different environments (indoor/outdoor).
Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to paint spraying.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the role.

Salary and Benefits

Basic Salary to £24 per hour

Overtime available optional Saturdays

08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, optional Saturdays 08:00-13:00
