Job Description

They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and a flawless finish. The role requires experience with different types of spray equipment and coatings to meet the needs of their clients or production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking areas to ensure a smooth and clean application.
  • Operate spray guns and other equipment to apply paint, primers, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, including wood, metal, and plastic.
  • Mix paint, chemicals, and other solutions to achieve desired colour, consistency, and finish.
  • Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring that the application is uniform, smooth, and free of defects.
  • Maintain spray equipment, ensuring it is cleaned and functioning correctly after use.
  • Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain inventory of painting materials and report when supplies are running low.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Perform maintenance on spray equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques.
  • Ability to operate various spray equipment, including airless, HVLP, and electrostatic spray guns.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in achieving high-quality finishes.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand, lift, and work in different environments (indoor/outdoor).
  • Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to paint spraying.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the role.
