PMLD TA - Morecambe:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to support pupils with SEN at an excellent school near to Morecambe.
You will be supporting children with PMLD and you will be required to administer personal care at times.
Position Details:
- Location: Morecambe
- Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:15am-3pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable
- Up to date Safeguarding qualification within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training would be highly desirable
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
- Effective communication with teachers to track student's progress
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
