We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Morecambe. This role involves working full-time for the full academic year, supporting a Year 3 pupil on a one-to-one basis. The ideal candidate will have a good standard of Maths and English and excellent behaviour management skills.
Day-to-day of the role:- Work full-time from 08:40 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Provide one-to-one support to a Year 3 pupil, assisting with educational and personal development.
- Implement tailored educational activities and lessons that cater to the pupil’s needs.
- Monitor and support the pupil’s progress and behaviour throughout the school day.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to enhance the learning environment for the pupil.
- Utilise effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Proven behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.18.
