Teaching Assistant - Level 2

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a local school in Morecambe. This role involves working in Year 4, providing general classroom support and assisting children with their learning and development. The ideal candidate will have good behaviour management skills and recent experience in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide general classroom support to the teacher in Year 4.
- Assist children in their learning activities, ensuring they are engaged in all aspects of the curriculum.
- Support the development and implementation of educational programs and activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour, maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom setup.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the learning experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with experience in KS2.
- Good behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for education and for helping children achieve their potential.
