We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working specifically with a Year 6 pupil. This role is crucial for providing targeted intervention and social and emotional support to help the pupil thrive in their educational journey.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work one-to-one with a Year 6 pupil every morning from Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 12:00.
  • Build and maintain an excellent relationship with the pupil, offering consistent social and emotional support.
  • Implement targeted interventions to aid the pupil's learning and development.
  • Apply strong behaviour management techniques to foster a positive and effective learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in a one-to-one setting with children.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to providing emotional support.
  • TA 2 qualification or equivalent is preferred.
