We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working specifically with a Year 6 pupil. This role is crucial for providing targeted intervention and social and emotional support to help the pupil thrive in their educational journey.

Day-to-day of the role:

Work one-to-one with a Year 6 pupil every morning from Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 12:00.
Build and maintain an excellent relationship with the pupil, offering consistent social and emotional support.
Implement targeted interventions to aid the pupil's learning and development.
Apply strong behaviour management techniques to foster a positive and effective learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in a one-to-one setting with children.
Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to providing emotional support.
TA 2 qualification or equivalent is preferred.
