CRS are currently assisting our Renewables client in sourcing a qualified HSEQ Manager to join the team on a full time basis at the offices based in the Lancaster area.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge or appropriate qualifications in:

  • Occupational health and safety systems (ISO45001)
  • ISO9001 quality systems
  • Environmental systems ISO14001.

Experienced understanding and usage experience of quality tools techniques;

  • 5S
  • Six Sigma
  • FMEA
  • SPC
  • Lean

Education / Qualifications desired for HSEQ Manager:

HND or Degree or equivalent level of education in a technical or engineering discipline.

Extensive experience (5 years minimum) in a quality role within an engineering and manufacturing environment.

A Member of the Chartered Quality Institute

Responsibilities of HSEQ Manager will include:

  • Ensure that the product and service that the Company provides is fit for purpose including legal compliance and customer expectations.
  • Manage ongoing requirements and maintain accredited certification of ISO9001, ISO45001 & OSI14001. .
  • Where appropriate, the quality manager advises on changes and implementation within the Company and provides support to training, tools and techniques to enable others to meet / exceed the requirements of the quality standard.
  • Assess and implement continual improvement to QMS processes, using risk based methods. Provide support training, tools and techniques to enable others to meet / exceed the requirements of the quality standard.
  • Update the Companys QMS and associated documentation
  • Ensure the Company maintains current QHSE certification
  • Plan, implement and manage; internal, 2nd and 3rd party audits
  • Work with Company and Project requirements to establish internal and supplier quality requirements, expectations, and capabilities
  • Manage NCRs, CAPA, and the Engineering Change Process.
  • Identifying relevant Quality & HSE-related training needs and delivering training
  • Taking a risk based approach to all aspects of the business, but specifically testing, ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood and Risk Assessments are correct, understood and implemented
  • Attending Project meetings representing QHSE
