Multi Skilled Fitter
Salary: £15ph + Overtime paid at time and a half after 42.5 hours.
Orion is partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing business located in Heysham, Lancashire which is recruiting for an electrically biased Multi Skilled Fitter.
Multi-Skilled Fitter Duties:
- Assembly of steel fuel tanks and bowsers to high standards and specifications
- Assembly and installation of components; mechanical and electrical fitting
- Plumbing/pipefitting experience required
- Electrical knowledge and experience of single and three-phase ancillary systems
- Testing and inspection of your work to guarantee finished quality
Multi-Skilled Fitter Experience:
- Adaptable problem-solver, able to interpret engineering drawings
- Thorough understanding of mechanical products, functions, and operations
- Working knowledge of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, and testing
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team to tight deadlines
- Computer-literate in MS Office, and will need driving licence/own transport
- Effective communication skills, with awareness of health and safety
- Creative, analytical, and highly self-motivated.
