My client is a leading manufacturer of vessels and pipework to the aviation industry with over 20 years of continuous growth culminating in over 16000 global customers and an annual turnover north of 10 million pounds. They are looking to bring onboard a skilled Mechanical Fitter to bolster their team in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will come from a previous Assembly and Testing background with experience working with Piping and Pump Systems products and will ideally have experience working with three phase Electrical systems
You will need to be based within a commutable distance of Morecambe for this role.
Mechanical Fitter Job Overview
- Assembling Steel fuel tanks and bowsers as per customer specification
- Assembling and installing both mechanical and electrical components
- Testing and inspection of completed works to ensure all is in line with company quality standards
- Working with single and three phase ancillary systems
Mechanical Fitter Job Requirements
- Previous experience in an Assembly / Pipefitting role
- Thorough understanding of Mechanical products and functions
- Strong proficiency across mechanical assembly and testing
- Any electrical experience, specifically three phase, would be highly beneficial
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Based within a commutable distance of Morecambe with a full Driving licence
Mechanical Fitter Salary & Benefits
- 13.00 - 15.00 per hour DOE
- Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (42.5 hour's week)
- Overtime available
- 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
