Behaviour Mentor - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a calm and resilient behaviour mentor to join the team at a school near to Morecambe. You will be supporting children with challenging behaviour.

This is a full time position to start as soon as possible and run until July.

The Role:

  • Offering guidance and mentoring to pupils who are disengaged from their studies
  • Providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment
  • Dealing with challenging or disruptive behaviour
  • Fully compliant in safeguarding policies and procedures

Position Details:

  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Hours: 8am-3pm, Mon-Fri
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: 10/02/2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Relevant experience supporting challenging behaviour and de-escalation techniques
  • Team Teach training is essential for this position

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references.
