We are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming school in Heysham. This role requires an immediate start and involves working with a Year 5 class. The position offers a supportive environment and the opportunity to contribute to a teacher’s pension via LCC.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 5 class, adhering to the KS2 curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that cater to the needs of all students, ensuring high levels of progress and achievement.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in school activities and events.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students’ progress, attendance, and any other required documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Recent and relevant teaching experience in KS2.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
