Job Title: Paint Prepper

Location: Morecambe

Job type: Permanent

Rate: £12.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00, 42.5hours per week

Are you an experienced Paint Prepper who wants to work for an exciting, world-leading company? We are looking for a Paint Prepper who is hardworking with great attention to detail within the manufacturing industry. If you are a capable Paint Prepper then we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities for a Paint Prepper:

  • Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking them to ensure they are free of dust, oils, or contaminants.
  • Inspect components for defects or damage that may affect the painting process.
  • Handle and prepare various materials and tools to assist in painting processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Work with precision to meet quality control standards and deadlines.

 

The Paint Prepper should have the following Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in paint preparation or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with various hand tools and painting equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in a workshop environment.
