BSW - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced behaviour support worker to join one of our schools near to Morecambe. You will be supporting children with SEMH issues. This is a full time position to start ASAP.

Position Details:

  • Location: Morecambe
  • Position: BSW
  • Hours: 8:15am-4pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 85 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Jan 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

The Role:

  • Liaising with class teachers and parents regarding pupils progress
  • Positively and effectively managing behaviour

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEMH
  • Team Teach would be highly desirable
  • Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

    • Hold Right to Work in the UK
    • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
    • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
