HLTA - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school near Morecambe. You will be required to cover lessons while the class teacher is on PPA.

You will need to have an excellent understanding of the general curriculum as well as be comfortable leading a class.

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £115 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
  • Previous experience teaching primary aged pupils is essential
  • Effective behaviour management techniques

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
