SEN TA - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in SEN to join a school near to Morecambe. This is full-time, ASAP start.

The Role:

Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
Preparing learning resources and activities
Liaising with other staff to monitor progress
Building a supportive and nurturing learning environment

Position Details:

Location: Morecambe
Position: SEN TA
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
Minimum Rate of Pay: 85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: 24/02/2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a school setting
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
