SEN TA - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in SEN to join a school near to Morecambe. This is full-time, ASAP start.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Liaising with other staff to monitor progress
  • Building a supportive and nurturing learning environment

Position Details:

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a school setting
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
