Due to company expansion, we are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, award-winning, family-run business that has been specialising in the design and installation of renewable heating and ventilation systems for over 25 years. Our client works with self-builders, custom home builders, and those undertaking major renovation projects, offering sustainable solutions for healthy, energy-efficient homes.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to combine their consultative sales expertise with a passion for supporting clients throughout the customer journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to fully immerse themselves in the sector, whilst also having a project management/support focus.
You will be given comprehensive training on this niche, but exciting product, and it will therefore require a technically minded salesperson keen to learn about a growing industry.
The role
- To be the main point of contact for prospective clients, creating bespoke quotes, and truly offering a consultative and advisory service, supporting through to completion of projects, with ongoing customer support thereafter.
- Create a network with architects and self-builders, ultimately becoming their “go-to” advisor in the market.
- Maintain active contact with warm leads and existing sales opportunities, ensuring the CRM system is up to date.
- Prepare detailed quotations for ventilation, central vacuum, and sustainable heating solutions.
- Occasionally visit client sites to assess needs and discuss solutions, also attending exhibitions across the country, where needed.
- Work closely with the design and operations teams to ensure seamless project handovers.
The candidate
- Proven experience in consultative sales, with a successful track record of securing new business.
- Confident and engaging telephone manner, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, with great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Basic understanding of area and volume calculations.
- A genuine interest in renewable technologies and the construction industry.

This role is office based and will require occasional weekend working, but this will be returned in lieu.
