Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for team management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting the needs of both staff and clients.

Due to location, all applicants must have a full driving licence and use of own car.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records using Sage 50 and other office software.
  • Invoicing and Credit Control
  • Arranging transportation of products including documentation for domestic and rest of world deliveries.
  • Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Co-ordinate external service providers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to foster positive relationships.
  • Assist with human resources tasks including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained when dealing with inquiries or concerns from clients.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an office management role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability in team management and supervising staff members.
  • Proficiency in clerical tasks and administrative duties is essential.
  • Familiarity with Sage 50 or similar software would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • A professional demeanour with a focus on customer service excellence is crucial.
