Our client, Gloucestershire County Council, is seeking Advanced Practitioners for its Childrenās Locality services.
Office bases available are Cotswolds or Stroud.
The pay rate is Ā£45 umbrella + accommodation or mileage incentives up to Ā£150 per week

Details of the role involve:
- We are looking for experienced Social Workers to join our Children and Families Teams in either Cotswolds or Stroud as an Advanced Practitioner.
- As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be instrumental in delivering a first-class service which will provide the best outcomes for the children and young people of Gloucestershire.
- You will be a resilient, driven individual who can play your part in making our vision for childrenās services a reality.
- Taking on a protected case load, you will work to create the best outcomes for children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks and circumstances.
- You will take a lead in promoting and supporting quality control and improvement activities within the team and across the service and support performance activities.
- We are operating to a hybrid way of working.
- All staff work in the office to complete visits and to provide a duty service and at home to complete administrative tasks.
- All children are to be seen face to face.
- The candidate will be expected to be in the office more in the initial stages of employment to help build the team cohesion and feeling of stability.
- The candidate will be provided with a laptop and smart phone to assist with this.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant experience in childrenās social care
- Must have expert knowledge of CP, CIN and court proceedings
