Our client is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a paper slitting /coating machine ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a mechanical bias and the ability to work with precision while adhering to safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £24,500.00 per year

Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday.

Location: Moreton-In-Marsh, GL56

Your main duties/ responsibilities will include:

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently, working to a job list.
  • Conduct materials handling tasks, including the movement of raw materials and finished products within Production.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the production process.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows and resolve any operational issues.

Experience required for this role:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery problems effectively.
  • Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently, demonstrating good organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude towards safety, quality, and continuous improvement in processes
