KCR are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work for our client based near Morpeth, this is a very varied role which will include mostly finance based work so knowledge of accounts packages is essential.
Permanent role - 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday .9-5
Hybrid role, some time working in the office in Northumberland required
Reporting to the Office Manager and Managing Director
Job Duties:
- Inputting of supplier invoices and looking after the purchase ledger account
- Assisting in looking after after the property accounts and coordinating with the property manager
- VAT Returns for all sites
- Ensuring Intercompany accounts reconcile each month
- Assisting with some bank reconciliations
- Assisting with foreign currency accounts.
- Assisting with Final Trial balance for year end accounts before sending to accountants.
- Dealing with HMRC on company matters
- Assisting with month end balance sheet reports
