The School and Role

This SEND School, based in Morpeth is looking to appoint a passionate 1-to-1 Male SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-to-1 basis with a year 10 male pupil with Autism and attachment needs on a full-time basis. This full time 1-to-1 Male SEN Teaching Assistant role is long term from December ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person. Due to the pupil's Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) this role requires a Male Teaching Assistant.

Requirements

The desired 1-to-1 Male SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of SEND primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
