WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Immediate start available
  • Hourly salary of £13-15 per hour based on experience
  • Working hours of Monday – Friday 7:15am – 5pm (3:30pm finish on Friday)
  • Temporary to Permanent

 

THE BUSINESS

Our client a family owned and ran company based in Northumberland that manufacture spring water based soft drinks. Our well established client aims to improve their soft drinks business and their team by continually developing, training, and staying at the forefront of technological and market developments with new automated packaging machinery.

 

THE ROLE

  • We are looking for a technical operator who will help run, problem solve, supervise and maintain the production lines to ensure peak performance and quality
  • A technical operator should have previous experience on bottling/canning lines, preferably within the beer or soft drinks sector.
  • Operating as part of a small team with a variety of process and technologically advance packaging machines, you will deliver the production of soft drinks to schedule.
  • You will understand the production line operating principles and be able to learn format changeovers and CIP processes.
  • Other responsibilities include helping our team with all aspects of production, assisting with warehousing and distribution, and general good hygiene and housekeeping practices around the site.

 

THE PERSON

You’ll be someone confident, motivated, able to work as part of a small team and willing to learn about producing the soft drinks which is at the heart what we do. We are looking for someone who is focused and has an eye for problem solving and capable of operating advance packaging machinery.

  • Opportunity to progress within the business available.
  • Experience of high pressure situations where decision making may be required with little supervision.
  • Previous experience in food or drink production working with automated packaging machines is highly desirable.
  • Above all, we believe that good communication and work ethic is what makes a workday go smoothly.
  • Counter balance FLT license is desirable but not a deal breaker.
