JR212: Plant Operative

Salary: £30,823.72 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Plant Operative on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager in a correct and safe manner.
- Carry out repair and maintenance work on fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager.
- Ensure that all plant and machinery on site is operated and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers' written instructions and the Company's prescribed schedules.
- Undertake on site and external training as requested.
- Carry out manual labour tasks as required.
- Undertake any other duty as may be reasonably assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience using mobile plant including dumpers, loading shovel and 360° excavators in a similar environment and hold certified tickets.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 (SPMO) (Desirable)
- Mechanical knowledge (Desirable)
- Previous experience working within a quarry environment (Desirable)
- 360 Excavator Ticket
