We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Quality Engineer who will strive to ensure that our products meet both external and internal requirements, including customer expectations and legal compliance. This role is based in the Central Belt of Scotland, a key location for the Industrial Manufacturing industry.

Description

  • Develop and implement quality control systems
  • Monitor and analyse quality performance
  • Inspect and test materials and products for defects
  • Identify and implement improvements to production processes
  • Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to develop product specifications
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations and legal standards
  • Provide technical and quality training to team members
  • Handle customer complaints regarding quality

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools
  • Experienced working within Aerospace sector or Precision Engineering
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
