VAN DRIVER / 3.5 TONNE DRIVER

WORKING ANY 5 DAYS OUT OF 7: 06.00 STARTS

£12.21 PER HOUR BASIC

£18.32 PER HOUR OVERTIME AFTER 45 HOURS

People Solutions are looking for Van Drivers for our client based in Motherwell.

You must be aged 21 or over for this role due to client's insurance.

Day to Day Duties

• You will be doing between 6 - 8 deliveries / collections from my client's Warehouse in Euro-central to various stores throughout Scotland and the North of England
• You will work any 5 days over 7 on a rota basis. starting at 0600 each day.
• Shifts are usually between 5 - 10 hours per day, depending on the length of run you are on
• You are guaranteed to be paid a minimum of 5 hours each day even if you work less than that

Essential Skills

• You must hold a current UK Category B Driving Licence, and have held this for at least two years for our client's insurance purposes
• No DR, DD or IN convictions
• No more than six points on your Driving Licence
• Due to client's insurance you must be over the age of 21

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience as a Van Delivery Driver would be an advantage, but is not essential

Training

• You will be required to complete a one day paid Induction with the client
• You will also be buddied up with an experienced driver for a minimum of two shifts, all of which is paid
